Stone Soup Magazine was founded in 1973 for the purpose of encouraging children to read, write, and draw by showcasing their best stories, poems, book reviews, and artwork in a high quality literary magazine. Since 1973, Stone Soup has published more than 10,000 pages of creative work by children ages 8 to 13.

In addition to publishing the magazine, Stone Soup collects children's art from around the world. The Stone Soup collection includes more than 1300 works from 36 different countries. Some of the finest examples from the collection are offered here as art prints. Many of these works are true masterpieces that will give great satisfaction to both adults and children, in the home, classroom, or office.

Stone Soup also offers a growing line of products, including anthologies of stories and poems from past issues of the magazine, journals and sketchbooks featuring favorite Stone Soup illustrations on the covers, back issue collections, and children's art calendars.
