A Woman Roasting Tea Leaves, by Kiyoka Iwasa, age 14, Japan

This is part of a group of extraordinary large-format woodcuts by Japanese children ages 13-15. This image of a country woman roasting tea, a step in the creation of fine Japanese teas, celebrates old traditions, as does this woodcut itself.  Many of these prints are appropriate for older children, and also for adults. A set of these prints would look wonderful in an office hallway.

All our fine-art quality prints are printed with archival ink on acid-free archival paper measuring 13 x 19 inches (22.9 x 29.1 cm). The image is centred on the paper with a plain border surrounding it.
